Tips on Sending Mail to Wentworth

Sending Autograph Requests

It is always nice and efficient to those who you write for a request of an autograph to send a Self Addressed Stamped Envelope (SASE) along with your letter of request.  Put a cardboard backing on it for bend-proof receiving and make sure you go to the post office and get both envelopes weighed out so you will have enough stamp-coverage.  By sending a SASE, you are giving the celebrity or artist a simple way of sending out their autographed photo (usually an 8 x 10 so be sure to have a big enough envelope) to you by just putting it in the envelope, sealing it, and putting it in the mail.

When writing to Wentworth in this case, he has replied to fans who have sent SASE's as well as those who haven't, so it truly is possible that you can get an autograph back and not have to send an SASE.  But for efficiency's and cost sake- I'd suggest you send one.

So how soon can you expect to see something back?  Well, depending upon where he is, it can take a few months; if he's on location filming still for Prison Break and may have delays in getting mail in a timely manner and responding back efficiently, he obviously won't be getting back to you anytime soon.  But from knowing by hearing other reply to the time factor, I tell you this- -do *not* lose hope when you are writing and waiting.

If you lose hope that you won't hear from him, then you don't trust.  Trust in the system, trust in the letter you write, trust in Wentworth's response.

Don't give up.  Just know you took the time to write a letter and you should be pretty proud of yourself for getting up the courage to do that.  At least you know he knows.

Thank you.
